Overview

Great caregivers know great caregivers, and we want to meet them! The Employee Referral Bonus program at CareSphere rewards you for referring qualified, compassionate candidates to join our team.

If you know someone who would be a great fit for a role as a Direct Care Worker (DCW), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Home Health Aide (HHA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), you can earn $75 when they successfully complete their initial onboarding and hit key milestones.

This program helps us grow our CareSphere family with dedicated professionals while putting extra money in your pocket for helping us find talent we can trust.

Who Is Eligible

To be eligible to participate in the Employee Referral Bonus program, you must:

Be an active employee of CareSphere at the time of referral and at the time of bonus payout

Refer a new applicant who is hired as a DCW, DSP, LPN, or HHA

Ensure that the applicant lists your name on their application as the person who referred them

Eligible employees include:

  • Direct Care Workers

  • Direct Support Professionals

  • Home Health Aides

  • Licensed Practical Nurses

What the Benefit Includes

You will receive a $75 referral bonus for each eligible candidate you refer who:

  1. Is hired by CareSphere, and

  2. Successfully completes 40 hours of work within their first 3 months of employment

Once both conditions are met, the $75 bonus will be processed and added to your paycheck.

Please Note:

Each referral is a one-time bonus. You can refer multiple candidates and earn a bonus for each one who qualifies, there is no cap on how many bonuses you can earn.

How It Works

The process is simple:

  1. Refer a Candidate

    • Share the opportunity with a friend, former coworker, or qualified caregiver.

    • Make sure they list your full name on their application as the person who referred them.

  2. Candidate Applies and Is Hired

    • The applicant must apply for a DCW, LPN, or HHA position.

    • They must be new to CareSphere and not a rehire within the last year.

  3. Candidate Works 40 Hours

    • Once hired, the referred employee must work 160 hours within the first 90 days of employment.

  4. You Stay Actively Employed

    • To receive the bonus, you must be actively working shifts with CareSphere at the time of bonus disbursement.

  5. You Get Paid

    • Once the 160-hour milestone is confirmed, the $75 bonus will be processed and paid to you through payroll.

There’s no limit to how many qualified people you can refer, so the more great people you bring in, the more you earn.

How to Access or Apply

To qualify for a referral bonus, follow these steps:

  1. Tell the applicant to list you as their referrer

    • They must enter your name on the caregiver application form where it asks “Were you referred by an existing caregiver?”

  2. Monitor the 160-hour milestone

    • Your referral must work a total of 160 hours within 90 days of their official hire date.

  3. Remain employed and actively working

    • You must be on the schedule and actively working shifts when the bonus is paid.

  4. No duplicate claims

    • Only one employee can receive the referral bonus per candidate. If multiple employees claim the same referral, only the name listed on the applicant's form will be honored.

You do not need to fill out a separate form. As long as your name is listed on the applicant’s form and all conditions are met, the bonus will be processed automatically.

Important Rules & Policies

  • Referral Must Be Recorded at Application

    • The caregiver you refer must list your full name during the application process. This is how we track referrals. If your name is not entered, you will not be credited for the referral.

  • Work Requirement for Referral

    • The referred caregiver must work 160 hours within 90 days of their hire date. If they leave early or do not meet the hours in that window, the bonus will not be issued.

  • Active Employment Required

    • You must be employed and working at the time of bonus payout. If you leave CareSphere before the referred candidate reaches 160 hours, you will not receive the bonus—even if you referred them.

  • One Bonus Per Referral

    • Only one employee may claim the bonus per referred candidate. Duplicate or disputed claims will not be honored.

  • Position Must Qualify

    • Referred caregivers must be hired into the roles of:

      • Direct Care Worker (DCW)

      • Home Health Aide (HHA)

      • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • One-Time Payment Per Referral

    • Each qualifying referral earns a one-time $75 payment. Additional milestones (like 400 or 700 hours) are not linked to this bonus.

FAQ

How much can I earn per referral?

You will earn $75 for each eligible referral once they complete 160 hours of work in their first 90 days.

Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?

No! You can refer as many qualified caregivers as you like. You’ll receive $75 for each one that meets the requirements.

What if someone else also claims the same referral?

Only the employee whose name is listed on the applicant’s form will receive the bonus. There are no exceptions.

Do I have to fill out any forms to claim my referral?

No. Just ensure the applicant lists your name when applying. That’s how we track who referred them.

When will I receive my bonus?

Once your referred caregiver works 40 hours, your bonus will be paid in your next payroll cycle, assuming you're still actively employed at CareSphere.

What if I leave the company before the caregiver hits 40 hours?

Unfortunately, you must be actively employed at the time of payout. If you are no longer working with CareSphere, the bonus will be forfeited.

Can I refer someone who worked here before?

Only if they haven’t worked for CareSphere in the past year. Recently rehired caregivers are not eligible for referral bonuses.
